Mathilde studied in Grenoble, France, where she focused on the material sciences aspects of microelectronics devices in a mixed research and industry environment. After moving to the Netherlands, she worked as a research engineer, shifting her interest to MEMS, nanofabrication and design challenges of quantum devices.
